Refund Policy
Effective date: 29 May 2026
SellWYK sells digital learning products (courses, ebooks, live webinars, downloads). Because these are delivered instantly once a purchase clears, all sales are non-refundable by default. We make exceptions in the cases below.
1. When you can request a refund
- Duplicate charge , you were charged twice for the same purchase. We refund the duplicate within 5 business days.
- Content not delivered , the course is missing all of its lessons, or a live webinar didn’t run (host no-show, link broken). We refund the full purchase price.
- Materially different from listing , the course doesn’t cover the topics described on the listing page in any reasonable way. We review each case individually.
- Statutory consumer rights , if local law in your country (e.g. EU 14-day cooling-off for digital goods you have NOT yet accessed) grants you a refund right, we honour it.
2. What we don’t refund
- Courses where you’ve viewed more than 25% of the lesson content (substantial use).
- Ebooks or downloads after you’ve opened the file.
- Live webinars after the session has ended , including no-shows where the seller ran the event as scheduled.
- Disagreements about teaching style, pacing, or accent , these are best raised as a review on the course page.
- Subscription tiers (Starter, Pro, Gold) once the billing period has started. You can cancel anytime and stay on the tier until the period ends.
3. How to request a refund
Email support@sellwyk.com within 14 days of the purchase with:
- The email on your SellWYK account.
- The course / product name.
- The payment reference from your receipt (looks like a long alphanumeric string).
- A short reason that matches one of the cases in Section 1.
We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and resolve within 7. Refunds are returned to the original payment method: bank account, card, or mobile wallet. Bank refunds typically clear within 5–10 business days; card refunds within 3–5; mobile money within 24 hours.
4. Seller-initiated refunds
Sellers can refund their own customers directly through their seller dashboard. When they do, SellWYK reverses the platform commission for that transaction at the next payout cycle.
5. Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your card issuer. A chargeback locks the full purchase amount with the issuer for 30–90 days while it’s reviewed, and if upheld results in a fee that is passed on to the seller and learner. A direct refund request through us is faster and cleaner for everyone.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are announced via email to your account address and posted at this URL. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent change.
